Product description:

Piperine is an alkaloid that is the main source of black pepper spicy flavor, along with chavicine (the cis-trans isomer of piperine). It is used in some forms of traditional medicine and pesticides. The spicy taste caused by capsaicin and piperine is produced by opening the TRPV ion channel in the pain nerves-the TRPV-1 channel that senses the hot and sour taste. In addition, piperine has been found to inhibit the cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) and P-glycoprotein in the human body, two enzymes that play an important role in the metabolism and metabolism of heterologous substances and metabolites.
